Part time Chalet host with own accommodation needed. The role is approximately 20 hours a week, of which approx six hours is on the Sunday from approx 9:00. And 2 hours per day starting at 9am for five other days (Thursday is day off). On very busy weeks, or to cover for illness / injuries, more work can be offered on a pro-rats basis if need be. It is favourable for applicants to be able to demonstrate the flexibility to work these extra hours if needed. Property consultants required - (year round position)
We're a family run chalet company looking for chalet couples to help uphold our long standing commitment to excellent service. If you are a ‘people’ person that cares enough about great service and can perform professionally, consistently throughout the length of the season, then we can offer a great package in an outstanding location to spend this winter season. Your responsibilities will also involve; preparing, cooking and serving a full cooked (6 weeks of season) and continental breakfast (all weeks), afternoon tea, and a 3 course evening meal, cleaning, including all bedrooms and bathrooms etc, taking guests up the mountain and generally offering great hospitality, service and assistance to ensure their holiday is memorable, for all the right reasons. We need a hands-on approach to every aspect of the work - with the understanding that you are here to work first and play second. In return, we'll show you respect and give you benefits over and above the larger chalet companies. Requirements: We're looking for fun-loving personalities who love to help /perform their daily chores/make conversation & spend time with guests, without being prompted, are the only type of people who work with us. You must have the necessary confidence to cook for up to 16 adults along with a passion for cooking and presentation. All applicants will be asked to provide a 6 day menu plan. All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account and valid Passport. General Facebook Group http://www.facebook.com/groups/397743793620620/ Jobs for the summer are hard to find as there are a lot of Seasonaires, and not so many jobs, speaking French is a definite advantage. Jobs for the winter try one of the following websites, contact all major holiday companies or try turning up in resort, you must remember a lot of people do this, and it can take a few weeks to find a job. So have enough money to keep you going. Quite often people leave after Christmas, so jobs become available throughout January. If you speak French you stand a better chance as there are many shops, cafes etc who need French speakers. Links:
