Picturesque Chalet Le Dome has that true alpine charm with the “chocolate box” look and feel. Situated in the beautiful tree lined area of upper Les Boisses, with the closest slope only 30 metres away you are easily connected to the L’ Espace Killy ski area which includes all areas of Tignes and Val D’Isere with over 200 miles of pistes. 

You will be welcomed by our team of helpful staff and experienced chef who will do everything possible to enhance your stay at the Chalet. Chalet Le Dome benefits from being in a peaceful setting between the Dam and Tignes Le Lac in a small hamlet of about 10 Chalets, however it is Ski in Ski out &  with a bus stop less than 10 metres from the front door you can get the regular free bus into the other areas of Tignes. (The bus runs every 15 minutes)

Unlike all other similar accommodation “Chalet Le Dome” operates on an “any day start” basis allowing you total flexibility to arrive and leave as and when you like, the only stipulation being that you stay for a minimum of three nights. This gives you the freedom to stay for long weekends, get the cheaper midweek flights, miss the heavy weekend traffic and to be on the slopes on Saturday which is by far the quietest day of the week on the piste.

As a guest of Chalet Le Dome you will receive breakfast/ afternoon tea and evening meal (including local wine). There is a bar, Sky Television, Wireless internet access and a PC with internet access / headphones & web cam. There are free tea and coffee making facilities. Plus free guest parking spaces.

Ski Hire can be arranged in the hotel opposite or by the Ski Hire Company "Snow Fun" who will pick you up and take you to their most appropriate shop for all your equipment needs and will still offer you a 10% discount on their usual rates.

Children/Extra Beds Children aged 2-11 pay 40% of the full price when utilising an extra bed in a room. Children aged 12-17 pay 50% of the full price when utilising an extra bed in a room. Adults - pay 60% of the full price when utilising an extra bed in a room. Single Occupancy We are happy to arrange for you to share with a single person from another party. However if you prefer a room to yourself we charge a 75% single supplement. Bedrooms: There are 4 Doubles and 4 twins. There is some flexibility to put a single bed in a double room to make a twin so please ask if our current room arrangements don't meet your needs.

Bedroom 4 - Is an internal room with no windows to the outside. However it does have high level windows to the hall which allow natural light into the room. This room has exclusive use of the bathroom opposite. Bedroom 5- Is a double with room for an additional bed to make a twin or a triple. Bedroom 6- Is a twin. Bedrooms 5 & 6 share a bathroom in what is essentially a separate apartment within the chalet. This is ideal for a family or 2 couples. Bedroom 7 - This is a double room with en-suite bathroom. It has large south facing windows opening on to the terrace. We charge a small premium for this room because it is en-suite. Bedroom 8 - This is an internal twin room with no windows to the outside. However it does have high level windows that allow natural light in from the outside and it is mechanically ventilated. This room shares the shower room and WC across the hall with the 2 staff members that live in.

Bedroom 2

To make the most of skiing on Saturday when the slopes are quiet as most others are traveling Chalet Chardon operates SUNDAY changeovers. This also avoids Saturday traffic congestion & enables you to link to cheaper flights. 

Area: Les Chartreux close to Val Claret   Sleeps: 14  Name: Chalet Tournavel  (Sun-Sun)

Chalet TOURNAVEL is a traditional free-standing chalet and a great place to stay for a ski holiday. It is located in a good location in an area called Les Chartreux close to Val Claret with easy access to the lift system. The chalet is very comfortable with the benefit of a sauna. The airy lounge provides a great room to relax in with comfortable seating, log fire and large picture windows giving superb views of the Grande Motte glacier and surrounding mountains. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities.

 

The chalet proved to be very popular with guests last season, it is ideal for groups, singles or families with greater savings to be made if utilizing the triple bedrooms. We are delighted to have Mike & Jean running the chalet next season as this will be their 3rd season in this chalet.

Our policy is to allow everyone to customise their holiday to suit their needs and budget. Not everyone wants to travel the same way, nor do they all require a full weeks equipment hire, lift pass, lessons etc. so we offer ½  Board as our basic packages around which we can build your perfect holiday.

NB: In October, most of November and 2nd week in May only the glacier is open (20-25 km piste & snowpark, halfpipe etc) and (snow permitting) the runs from the glacier down to Val Claret. The full 'Espace Killy' area (Tignes & Val D'Isere) opens 26thNovember through to first week in May.
