Mountain Shaker:
From March 10 to 18, 2023
Mountain Shaker is THE event of the season, with a maximum of board culture and everything we love. It's also the occasion for Tignes to host three major and unmissable events this season for all Tignaddicts.
Tignes. Its huge freestyle show. Its DC Park. Tignes is board culture, for as long as board culture has existed!
Gathering the best of "everything that rides" in a big freestyle event. It was obvious, almost a duty. And this season will be the right one!
From March 10 to 18, 2023, Tignes presents Mountain Shaker, a week-long festival dedicated to board culture, with hree major events:
on the 10 and 11 March, with the Freeride World Qualifier 1* & 3*
event on the Tignespace indoor skatepark on 14 and 15 March
from 16 to 18 March to end the week in style

Tignes is Green Globe Certified
Tignes is the world’s first ski area to earn Green Globe certification thanks to efforts led by the area’s lift company, the STGM.
Tignes is one of 450 tourism companies across the world with Green Globe certification, and is the only ski area on the list. The resort is recognised worldwide for complying with strict international standards that encourage sustainable development in tourism.
Since 2008, the STGM has been ISO 14001 certified to reduce its environmental impact; more than 100 lift towers have been dismantled and removed from the ski area. Every year grass is planted to better integrate the ski runs into the landscape, to provide a more stable base for the snowpack, and to restore local biodiversity. The STGM regularly renews its bus fleet, offering an efficient and environmentally friendly bus service to guests, who are encouraged to leave their cars in the parking lot when vacationing at the resort. In 2013, the STGM created an environmental monitoring committee to measure and evaluate the effect new projects will have on the local landscape and to inventory species of plants and animals within the ski area.
