All bookings with Tignes.co.uk are subject to these conditions. Contracts will be governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with, English law.

Contract
A contract will exist between Tignes.co.uk and the client once the client has paid the required deposit.’

FCO (Foreign & Commonwealth Office), there are three levels of advice:
1. Safe To Travel
2. Advised against all but essential travel (i.e. you can travel but need to self isolate on your return)
3. Advised against all travel

If the resort is closed for the dates of your booking or the FCO advice is at level 3 - 'Advised against all travel' we will offer a refund of any money paid for an apartment.

If the advice is at level 2, 'Advised against all but essential travel' - we will offer a full refund up until 30 days before arrival.
Hence we will not be offering refunds if you want cancel less than 30 days before your arrival to avoid self isolation.

Party Leader
The Party Leader is the person who reads and accepts the terms and conditions. This person enters into this contract on behalf and with the consent of all persons named on the booking form. The party leader accepts responsibility for all persons included in the booking in relation to payment and these terms and conditions. The Party Leader must be at least 18 years old.

Payment
All bookings require a 25% deposit. The remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks before departure. If full payment is not received 4 weeks before the departure date Tignes.co.uk reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.


Cancellations

Cancellation by the guest will incur in the following percentage charges of the full holiday cost:
• More than 8 weeks will mean loss of deposit
• 6-8 weeks before the departure date 40%.
• 4-6 weeks before the departure date 60%.
• Less than 4 weeks before the departure date 100%.

In the unlikely event of cancellation by Tignes.co.uk you will receive a full refund.

Insurance
Tignes.co.uk requires you to have holiday insurance including winter sports cover when booking a holiday.

Booking Amendments
Every effort will be made to amend a booking, however the party leader will be liable for any increased costs resulting from changing the booking.

Damage and use of accommodation

The accommodation will be left in a clean and tidy condition. You must inform us of all breakages or damage prior to departure. Payment will be taken from the 'Damage Deposit' card details provided.

We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others, without recompense. Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10.00pm.

No pets are allowed in the property.

We reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.

Please do inform us, as soon as possible, if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation that needs attention, so that we can repair or make alternative arrangements. Due to the limited period of your stay, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of rental.

There is a strictly no smoking policy in all guest accommodation.

Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for all of their belongings.

Skiing/Snowboarding
In the event of illness or injury during the holiday the payment of all doctors, hospital and repatriation expenses are the responsibility of the client.

Forced Majeure
Tignes.co.uk will not be liable for problems or delays caused by strikes, political unrest, riots, hostilities, terrorist activity, war, industrial disputes, fire, flood, tornadoes, hurricanes, transportation problems, airport closures, weather conditions or any other event beyond our immediate control. Your travel insurance should cover this. Tignes.co.uk cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by “force majeure”. In these booking conditions, “force majeure” means any event, which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not even with all due care, foresee or avoid. These events are ones such as listed above.
