The village of Le Lavachet is an ideal location for easy skiing. From the apartment there is direct access to the slopes of the Paquis and Chaudannes chair lifts and, depending on the snow conditions, you can ski straight back to the door of the residence! There are numerous shops and restaurants in the village, and a 24 hour free bus service to the other villages in Tignes.  

The apartment is 35 sq m and has wonderful views, as it is triple aspect; this also means the apartment is very sunny. To the north there is a view right across the valley of the Lac de Chevril dominated by the beautiful peak of the Grande Sassiere. To the south the apartment has a view of Tignes and the glacier on the Grande Motte. The apartment is well furnished and comfortable.  

The apartment has recently been refurbished with new paintwork to all the rooms, new carpeting to the lounge and hall and a new kitchen and bathroom.  In the separate bedroom there are 2 bunk beds and a single divan, wardrobe and drawer units.  Off the hall are separate toilet and modernised bathroom.  The bathroom has a full sized bath, in-bath shower wash hand basin with cupboard under. There is a living area with a double clic clac sofa bed/settee, single futon chair, large hanging wardrobes and a dresser. The kitchen is fully fitted and has an oven/microwave and grill, 2 ring electric hob, fridge (with small freezer section) and dishwasher. There is a range of new cupboard units for storage and cooking equipment should you wish to stay in and eat. Through the living room door you will find yourself on the south facing balcony where we enjoy a view of the village and of The Grand Motte glacier.  In the summer the balcony is in the sun until the early afternoon.  

Private under-cover parking is available in the adjacent garage.  In the summer the parking is free, in the winter, the cost can be obtained from the tourist board. As covered parking is mandatory in Tignes this is a good option as the garage is very near to the apartment building. Alternatively, there is free parking in Tignes Les Boisses which is linked to Le Lavachet by the free ski bus, or during the day, by the ski lift system.

Bed linen is provided with this apartment, and towels are available to hire from us in resort.
