Chalet Chartreux Les Chartreux Sleeps: 12-15 (Sun - Sun)

Chalet Chartreux, a fabulous Tignes chalet located in the heart of a beautiful hamlet at 2100m called Chartreux in Tignes Val Claret. The perfect ski in (off piste) ski near location with fabulous panoramic views.

Chalet Chartreux is situated in the heart of the L’espace Killy. The ‘Good Ski and Snowboarding Guide’ list the area as ‘one of the only two areas in France which are snow-sure resorts.’

Very close to the chalet is the 24 hour free shuttle service bus stop. This opens access to all of the different areas of Tignes, all the lift stations and nightlife. The bus runs every 10 minutes throughout the day and every half hour during the night.

Access to the slopes is very easy. A short, flat 5 minute walk to the nearest flat rope tow brings you to the main lifts or use of the free regular bus.

Accommodation

Chalet Chartreux has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 13.

There are 4 twin rooms, 1 double and 1 triple, ideal for families and groups alike. Every room has its own bathroom (with WC) except for 2 rooms, which are located on a private floor but share a bathroom. The living room includes brand new leather sofas, flat screen TV with UK satellite channels, DVD player, I-pod docking station and log fire.

Chalet Chartreux also has its own heated conservatory with pool table and easy chairs and an entertainment mezzanine with flat screen TV with UK satellite channels , Xbox 360, I-pod docking, sofas and bean bags.

There is free parking outside the chalet should you wish to drive (not covered, however, covered paid parking just 5 minute walk)

Food

Amazing ingredients

Breads and patisseries fresh from the oven, fresh milk and eggs, flavour-filled, regional vegetables, regional charcuterie and pates, mountain grazed meat and some of the World's finest artisanal cheese and select wines. Ingredients like these are a chalet cook's dream and they inspire our talented team to produce dishes that will make your mouth water and make you want to rush home after a hard day's fun on the slopes.

Culinary delights

To help you sample as many culinary delights as possible and make sure you have sufficient energy to ski the whole Paradiski, we serve three meals a day: breakfast, afternoon tea and a wonderful homemade and lovingly prepared dinner, akin to bistro style dining ! A choice of fine wines (2 white, 1 rose and 3 red varieties) are selected to compliment your dinner and are included on an unlimited basis throughout your evening meal in the catered chalet experience price. Your hosts also love good food, so they can make recommendations on the best restaurants to visit during their days off.
